Overview
Presentsimple is AI-powered presentation tool, that helps people quickly create presentation draft from topic, file or text document.
I worked as a visual product designer, focusing on simplifying core scenarios, improving presentation editor usability, and scaling template production for both B2C and B2B clients.
challenge
Make the core “create from prompt” flow fast, intuitive, and low-friction
Expand editor capabilities without making the UI feel heavy or confusing
Design slide templates that remain readable with unpredictable AI-generated text lengths
Ship quickly while keeping visual quality and interaction consistency
Support both B2C users and B2B clients with custom branded templates
Solution
Led an end-to-end UI refresh across key areas: authentication, onboarding, home, all creation flows, editor, paywall, and system UI (modals, empty/error states).
Simplified the main “create from prompt” journey from 10 required steps to 3, reducing cognitive load and making the flow easier to complete.
Redesigned the presentation editor using familiar patterns from leading tools (e.g., Pitch, Figma), added requested features, and improved clarity and hierarchy.
Built a consistent component set and interaction states (including edge cases and errors) to keep the experience predictable at scale.
Designed scalable presentation templates and owned the Figma → product template workflow (template markup), enabling fast custom template rollouts in 2–3 days.
Shipped feedback loops: post-generation quality rating with a follow-up form, plus a “report an issue” entry point.
Added a post-signup survey to understand user intent and segment needs (work vs. education, role, etc.).
Delivered responsive mobile layouts and improved accessibility.
Outcome
Shipped a major redesign that made the product more consistent, predictable, and visually polished across the main journeys.
Reduced complexity in the core creation flow (10 steps → 3), making the primary path faster and clearer.
Delivered 10+ templates for B2C and B2B clients (25–100 slides each) and improved production speed through the template pipeline.
Collected continuous user feedback via in-product surveys to identify issues and prioritize improvements.
